Uploading a video to Blogger Blog post

Uploading your original video directly to your own Google Blogger’s Blog site is allowable. In fact most of Blogger users upload videos to YouTube and embedded in blog posts by placing video code but it is recommendable because YouTube has capacity to maintain smooth video streaming. Similarly, your Blogger also has the same capacity. Therefore you can insert your video to your blog site’s post directly but remember as a blog site owner you should have the rights on video and it should not be part of movie clip, songs or other’s videos. Due to violation of Blogger terms of use, Google deletes such videos but does not delete original videos which are created by you.

At your blog post composing or editing post area, Blogger shows list of useful features in a horizontal bar in which there is an icon called "Insert a Video" as shown in the above screen shot.

A popup video appears which shows distinct uploading options as shown in below picture. You are allowable to upload video from your computer, also allowable to add any video from YouTube and also allowable to add your videos from your YouTube channel.

After clicking on Choose a video to upload button, you will see file upload window of your person computer. Now, you have to select the actual video file from your personal computer from exact file location.

Click on Open button and your video which you want to upload to blog post is added to uploading window and then click on upload button to start uploading your video file from your computer to post.

Your blog site takes some time to upload video from your computer to post but uploading processing time depends on size of the file. After successful video processing, Blogger determines a screen picture for your video for identification purpose and then publish your post in order to show your video to visitors in a new blog post.
